all my devices say I am in Shenzhen (but I am not)

Hi, I moved from Italy to Greece 2 days ago and before leaving my devices (MacBook Air with Mavericks, iPad2 and iPhone 4S displayed the location properly). Now in Greece they all tell me I am in ShenZhen. I tried on all of them through preferences - privacy - location services - enable, all seems all right but no app using GPS will pick up my correct location, just bloody ShenZhen. Thanks in advance for your help!

Maybe it is to do with where the ISP connected to the other end of the WiFi is located.

My ISP is located/registered in a neighbouring island..so I appear as if I am in Guernsey island, although I live in Jersey.

Do you have a mobile data connection you coudl try..or take the machine to some where else that uses a different ISP and see what your location shows as then.

On Facebook every one in Jersey (the island not New Jersey USA) appear as if we live in Carteret in France.

The ISP here is correctly located. Other pieces of the puzzle I have recently discovered are: a) by connecting with my iPhone via 3G as opposed to WiFi, the iPhone displays the correct location; b) when trying to set the time to the Mac, in the automatic mode it goes to China; I have to select manual to display the correct time.

However, the fact that the devices select ShanZhen as a location is certainly not casual, since it is where they were made. For some reason they switch to that location instead of getting the correct input from the GPS.
